In 1975 a new generation of spiritual seekers converged in the Sufi Order. In that year the Abode of the Message was established as a land-based Sufi community. Today, forty years on, the Sufi Order is growing anew. Our new impetus represents both a reaffirmation of our treasured roots in the visionary lifework of Hazrat Inayat Khan and a forward-looking response to the needs and aspirations of the rising generation of seekers in today’s complex, interconnected world. This summer we will come together for a Summer School of practice, dialogue, worship, and remembrance poised between our storied past and the beckoning future.
