"The Thirteen Aspirations of Faith: Universal Tenets of the Emerging Cosmology"
Pir Netanel Mu'in ad-Din Miles-Yépez
In the 12th-century, the celebrated Jewish philosopher Maimonides formulated Thirteen Principles of Faith to advance the understanding of God and religion in his time. Over 800 years later, our own Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi began to feel a new formulation of these principles was necessary to guide us into the future. Thus, with his student, Netanel Miles-Yépez, he began to incorporate the mystical insights of Hasidism and Sufism into a new set of principles for the emerging cosmology. Pir Netanel will join us to explore the Thirteen Aspirations of Faith today.
